After creating the Mapping for Empathy series, I went back to the Taliesin maps and videos to create a collaged series of maps which show the variety and emotion in perception of place.

All three maps use the color red to symbolize death. Each map also has a trail of 13s winding through the landscape. These numbers mark the path I took, in an effort to walk a straight line, due North.

If you look carefully, each map shows a building or a feature repeated. The Fellowship members, architects and students at Taliesin had slightly different perceptions of where and at what scale certain features were located, based on their relationship to them.
