The Modern Catholic Kitchen series takes advantage of intimate Sony Portapak tube camera imagery.

 

This analog signal was captured by a computer

This analog signal was projected to Polaroid film via SCSI

This analog signal negative was peeled apart and fixed

This analog signal was enlarged in a darkroom

This analog signal was burned to 2 litho plates

This analog signal was printed by hand on Ragcote paper

This analog signal was printed by hand on sheets of Plexiglas

This analog signal was contained by a wooden box and lit from behind

This analog signal shows Father Komascher, a Catholic Priest from Dayton, Ohio, saying Mass in my mother’s kitchen
