Haptic Opera, electronic performance and continuous play interactive work.

I was invited to perform Haptic Opera at the opening of the Video Melee exhibition. This electronic performance explores how recordings of opera singers are controlled in real-time by the scratching of two records: “Jermaine Dupri & Da Brat” and “Sesame Street”.
When not being performed, the operas skip and jump, controlled by the turntables left playing in the gallery space.
